Recent Capital University Grad to Work in Westerville & Sunbury Areas

Central Ohio FCA Welcomes Faith Hutchinson

We are thrilled to welcome Faith Hutchison as the newest greater Westerville Area Representative for Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) in Central Ohio. Her vibrant faith, powerful testimony, and heart for student-athletes position her perfectly to expand ministry across the Westerville and Sunbury areas.

Faith recently graduated from Capital University with a business major and music minor. She served as Secretary and Technique & Wellness Coach for the Capital University Dance Collective while joining the Women’s Lacrosse Team as a walk-on athlete after years away from sports. These roles give her direct insight into the pressures and identity struggles student-athletes face daily.

Originally planning a behind-the-scenes career in the music industry, Faith watched God redirect her path. As she grew in Christ, she recognized how that industry often promotes idolatry and agendas opposed to God’s Word. She prayed for a way to steward her gifts for His kingdom. FCA arrived as God’s clear answer.

Faith’s story reveals God’s hand from the beginning. Her name stems from a miraculous birth after her mother’s surrendered prayer and an emergency C-section with the cord wrapped around her neck. Though raised in church, she battled anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts that deepened after losing sports to injury and numbing pain through college partying and drinking.

On December 18, 2024, Faith survived a serious car accident without a scratch after crying out to God for a sign. She went all-in for Jesus, was rebaptized, and is now on fire for Him. She calls Rock City Short North her church home, serves with Run with Christ, and leads others to Jesus weekly.

God is moving powerfully among young people in Columbus. Faith sees the urgent need to disciple the next generation before the enemy does. Sports once defined her identity; losing them meant losing herself. FCA meets athletes where they are and anchors their identity in Christ rather than performance. This is why she is so passionate about her role.

She does not want to cheer from the sidelines. She wants to walk with athletes through hard seasons, point them to Jesus, and help them discover the greatest victory has already been won at the cross.

Launching this ministry requires raising her salary and funds to bring FCA huddles, camps, and discipleship into Westerville and Sunbury schools. Faith invites the community to pray, give, and get involved. She would love to meet those who want to support reaching the next generation.

Faith is honored to serve the area and eager to see what God will do through FCA in young athletes’ lives. Her testimony shows God redeems every story for His purposes.

Pray for Faith as she raises support and launches this vital work. Reach out to connect, pray together, or learn how to partner in prayer, giving, or serving. Together we can help student-athletes across Central Ohio find true identity and victory in Christ.
